Hi all:
Got L3000-5x running 11.11 OS. Need to install the PHSS_26792 and PHSS_26793 patches but the patches will not install because "no fileset on the target" The patches are looking for filesets B.11.11.03 for ansiC & B.11.11.40 for FORTRAN - we are at B.11.11.02 & B.11.01.40 respectively. So to install these patches I need to upfrade the compilers. Where do I find the upgrades?

Solution
Rick,
Have you tried the Software Update Manager? On the left side of this page, click on "Maintenance and Support for HP Products", then click on "SUM" and then on " order software updates ". Select your system handle and you should be able to either download the latest or order physical media to be delivered.

Re: upgrading ANSI C and FORTRAN
You can either get the latest versions from
SUM (like the previous poster suggested)
or upgrade to the required versions via
previous patches. The patch descriptions
for PHSS_26792 and PHSS_26793 should list
the patch prerequisites in the "Dependencies"
section.

Re: upgrading ANSI C and FORTRAN
Hmm,
the most recent patch for C 11.11.02 is this one
http://www5.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchDetail.do?BC=patch.breadcrumb.main|patch.breadcrumb.search|&patchid=PHSS_24830&context=hpux:800:11:11
Looks quite outdated :-)
Most recent versions when searching for patches "ansi C" show 11.11.08:
http://www5.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchDetail.do?BC=patch.breadcrumb.main|patch.breadcrumb.search|&patchid=PHSS_29484&context=hpux:800:11:11
Ansi C 11.11.08 is available on the September 2003 Application Patch CDs
http://www.software.hp.com/RELEASES-MEDIA/latest/aps/0903/newupdt.htm
Search B3901BA (2 times)
If you really require 11.11.04 I would scan some older Patch CDs.
