Hi Guys,
We bought some years ago the B3901BA to do some development in pro c under 11.11. Now we are wandering if there is a free upgrade of this software to enable us to install it on the recently updated server 11i v2 or if we need to buy the new version.
I have tried with my local HP reseller, but I have not heard from them, so I tried here as you know better...
Thanks for your help,

Hi Oscar:
If your server has a support contract which is a continuation of the software licensed under 11.11, then you are entitled to a free uplift to B9007AA. If this is a new server, then you need to license/purchase ths software:

Re: Upgrading C compiler from 11iv1 to 11iv2
Shalom,
This is a support contract issue. Whomever provides you with your support contract can do this.

Modify your support agreement if 11.23 is not listed and you are done.

Re: Upgrading C compiler from 11iv1 to 11iv2
Thank you guys for your help. It came that we did not have software support contract so we will have to pay £795 for the new version. We were offered a £670 SW support for 3 years, but I think that money will go down the drain as apart from this compiler and Oracle all the other software used is included in the OS.
