upgrading hpapache2 2.0.43 to 2.0.59
Looking for advice or pointer to a doc on upgrading our hpux 11.11 to the latest version of apache. The biggest difference appears to be the location /opt/hpws/apache instead of /opt/hpapache2, so it looks more involved than an 'upgrade'. We have certs to keep. I do not want to upgrade tomcat and do not use webmin. Can I keep 2.0.43 in place and just not use it untill 2.0.59 is happy, since they occupy different locations? Seems like the run control scripts have different names too. My strategy so far would be:
- apachectl stop
- make a tar of /opt/hpapache2 for certs and conf files and saftey
- swinstall the HPUXWSAX-A214-1100.depot
- copy httpd.conf and certs into the new location and start, test
Just trying to plan ahead for minimum downtime.
Thanks in advance.
