UPS setup via SAM and LanSafe III

We have a Powerware 9125 with ext. battery modules hooked up to our L3000. Installed the Lansafe III sw and started the daemon.

In SAM --> Peripherals -->UPS to you also start this daemon? The only type of UPS listed is SOLA which was there even before installing the LanSafe III sw.


Also how/can you redirect the UPS msgs sent to the console to root's mail? The messages only show up on the console. They don't appear if you log into the GSP via the web or telnet session.
