URGENT: Bad Disk in Veritas Volume Manaager (disconnected) replacement
I have a disk that is bad and showing disconnected in VEA. I need to replace this disk. The plex that the disk is part of is running and started. Can I just pull this disk and put in the replacement and have the system recognize the new disk and rebuild the plex? How do I do this without damage to the running system?

Re: URGENT: Bad Disk in Veritas Volume Manaager (disconnected) replacement
Craig,
You can use the vxdiskadm command.
http://www.docs.hp.com/en/B7961-90018/ch04s04.html
3 Remove a disk for replacement
4 Replace a failed or removed disk
Regards,
Robert-Jan
