Urgent help for swlist
Hi all,
I tried to use swlist to check for softwares but it gives the following error:
# Initializing... # Contacting
target... WARNING: Incomplete definition for
the root(installation) "/",
beginning at line 1. The following attributes are not
defined: products the
products contained in the root
ERROR: The depot "abgail:/" exists but is currently empty.
Any suggestions how to correct it ?
any comments appreciated.

Re: Urgent help for swlist
If you changed the node name update it in /etc/rc.config.d/netconf.
Make sure that the /var/adm/sw/sessions and /var/adm/sw/security folders are
not deleted.

Re: Urgent help for swlist
Hi, thanks for the quick reply but I didn't change the node name at all. I've
checked /var/adm/sw and both security and sessions are present. Last time
around what I did was accidentally deleted btlan3 from the kernel and has to
redirect the ip address to self loop, reinstall btlan3 and then reassign the ip
address. My guess is something messed up during that procedure. Any suggestion
what I should do ?
Thanks and appreciated.
