USB optical mouse not working on HPUX 11.11
USB Optical mouse (Logitec) is not working on HP workstation B2600 series running 11.11 OS. Changing the mouse didn't help. But when i connect USB keyboard to the same port it works fine.
Best regards

Re: USB optical mouse not working on HPUX 11.11
I have attached a optival microsoft mouse and restarted the Xserver. My mouse is running. Have you restarted the Xserver.
If detach the keyboard and attache back that is no problem. But if you detach the mouse and attach the mouse back I must restart my Xserver.(I have a C3650).
Try first a reset on the Xserver (as root)
# /sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc reset
if this does not help try a stop/start
Stop/Restart Xserver (as root)
# /sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc stop
login in the CLI as root
# /sbin/init.d/dtlogin.rc start
# exit
(CDE will start now again)

Re: USB optical mouse not working on HPUX 11.11
I saw that there is a "Logitec Patch" available for HP-UX11.11.
Install the newest Xserver Cumulativ Patch PHSS_29169. And then it could work.

Re: USB optical mouse not working on HPUX 11.11
Thanks for your quick response. I restarted the machine itself, but still it is not working. One more thing i forgot to mention is that the same Logitech mouse was working fine earlier. It stopped working after i moved the machine to different location. I connected the same mouse to windows PC it works fine. Do you think that i should still try installing the patch for Logitech mouse. Please advice.
Regards

Re: USB optical mouse not working on HPUX 11.11
I think the patch can not do something bad.
It is the newest Xserver patch. But you said the mouse was running before you moved the machine, so the problem must be at a other place, I think. You have attached a keyboard to that usb port and it works. Change of mouse didn├В┬┤t help(same model?). Looks pretty difficult!
Anything in the log files?
syslog.log/Xerrors
What does dmesg show?
