use HPjconfig offline?
Hello,
I wonder if there's a possibility to let HPjconfig run offline.
My HP-UX Bos is not connected to the internet. I ran HPjconfig offline ignoring the messages about failed downloads and got a list of missing patches. While downloading all these patches from an internet-connected box I decided not to install exactly the missing patches but the recommended newer ones. Now HPjconfig still complains about e.g. PHCO_29109 - although PHCO_30544 is installed. I guess this is because HPjconfig does not know about superseded patches due to the missing internet connection.
Is there any way to let HPjconfig use a current snapshot of patch data offline? Where to get this snapshot and how to do this?
Thanks in advance!
Regards, Andreas
