Use password at local console

Hi,

How can I configure my HP-UX System to ask user and password at local console?

It should be doing that now unless you are bringing the machine up in single-user mode. All that should be necessary is an entry in /etc/inittab that spawns getty on the console port and another entry in /etc/inittab so that initdefault is set to 3 (or 2 in very rare cases).

If you are confused, post the current /etc/inittab and describe what you are seeing on the console.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Carlos and necessario to configure the GSP to ask for login in the console type ctrl + b type HE havera an alternative to create
user.
