UsePrivilegeSeparation for HP-UX 11.00

Hi, I recently installed HP's SSH v3.61 (T1471AA_A.03.61.002_HP-UX_B.11.00_32+64.depot). I first tested as root and everything worked great. Then I tried to connect as a non-root user and could never connect. I searched around and found information on the UsePrivilegeSeparation option. When I set it to no, I can log in as anyone, and at yes, only as root.

Does HP not support this new option? How have other administrators set this? What is the impact of setting it to no? Is there another setting that needs to be modified in order to use it?

There was a recent thread with the same issue. Make sure that you are up-to-date with your OS patches, especially those related to PAM.
