Useradd is damn slow on HPUX 11iv3

Hi All,
I got a machine installed with hpux 11iv3.I can access this machine through ssh or telnet.After opening telnet or ssh session all commands are working fine except useradd .To add an user it is taking almost 1 minute,where as all other commands are working normally.Can any body tell me why this was happening?

NIS / LDAP / local files ???

Hi, I think it is storing in files.I am new to Hpux environment .Can u tell me how to check where the users are stored?

Thanks for ur replies.The issue is resolve.Actually the systems is configured as nis client,after stopping the nis services the command is working as expected.
