Using DVD with codeword to unlock software
Trying to install MC Serviceguard on a system. I have a 5013-3306 CD, a customer ID, codeword. These all match the info given to me by licensing.hp.com.
/var/adm/sw/.codewords is updated properly, I can mount the CD.
Problem is, using swinstall, I cannot see the EMS or Serviceguard packages.
What might I be missing?
With these CDs requiring a code to unlock, should I still be able to browse all the .depot files from a shell prompt? I see some of the higher level dirs like /cd/Serviceguard, but the folder is pretty much empty.

Re: Using DVD with codeword to unlock software
swlist should show you what is there.
If you invoke swinstall, point it to the DVD, and do NOT specify software to load then swinstall will start an interactive session. From there you can scroll through the contents of the DVD and see the software that is NOT codeword protected and the software you are licensed for with the codeword(s) you have installed.

Re: Using DVD with codeword to unlock software
That's the problem... I don't see the additional software. Called HP support line, and they suggested getting a new DVD.
I have newer ones, but need MC SG 11.16, so I can match with another build.

So I'm hoping all is self-contained.
