Using ignite seems to kill my lancards

Hi All,

I posted a thread yesterday as I suddenly lost connection to a server while adding it to the ignite master. At the time I didn't put this down to ignite rather to a network issue. I have attempted the same thing with a second server and the same has happened!

We have a master ignite server running HPUX11i and ignite version 6.1.44. The servers i'm trying to add as clients are HPUX11i and are currently running ignite 6.0.155.

The problem is when adding these servers, all sessions hang and when I connect via the console I find the lancard is in a down state from lanadmin. Looking at the card I can see no link light so there is a problem but both times caused when using ignite. Does anyone know of any issues ignite may cause like this?
