Using Oracle forms in CDE

Is anyone using Oracle forms with CDE? If so, what changes need to be made to .profiles, .dtprofile, etc. Thanks.

We do this for diagnostic purposes in CDE and GNOME.

You would need to make sure the forms binaries are on the PATH. You'll obviously need the DISPLAY variable set.

There is a file that comes with forms called forms60.sh

You probably want to source that with modifications into your .dtprofile.

Not all of these steps are necessary, we usually just use the full path of the binaries. It sounds to me like you are planning more use than us. Hence my post.
