I am going to upgrade from HP-UX 11i v1 Enterprise OE March 2002 to June 2003. Can I be sure that none of my system config files, LVM groups, etc. will be affected when I run update-ux?

Solution
Hi,
just install the
GOLDAPPS11i B.11.11.0306.4 Gold Applications Patches for HP-UX 11i, June 2003
GOLDBASE11i B.11.11.0306.4 Gold Base Patches for HP-UX 11i, June 2003
from June 2003 Support Plus media.
which will upgrade your March 2002 11i to June 2003 11i.
while doing this, none of your config files, group files will be afftected. whereas the machine will reboot once.

Hi,
Ravi is right, now worries about the config files, though i would advice to create a ignite tape before you upgrade. New patches can create new buggs.....
