/usr/conf/master.d

Probably a stupid question, but where do the files in /usr/conf/master.d come from? I am trying to run kmsystem using a module on one machine, but the module doesn't appear on another machine. Perhpas I need to install soemthing?

Source machine is 11.11, target machine is 11.00. The actual module is not particularly relevent.

On a related theme, where does /usr/conf/lib/libinstall.a come from ?
