uuencode

I need to sendmail with an attachment. I used uuencode as follows ;

uuencode test.txt test.txt | sendmail abc@xyz.com

This worked on fine on my dev box. And it does not work on my Model box. Sendmail works fine, but when I use with uuencode it does not..

What may be the problem?? Is there any patch to be installed for uunencode...

I fixed it...there was a problem in the syntax..

uuencdoe may do strange things to ascii attachments.

itrc has got a good script for handling that on itrc.
