Hello HP,

I received this message when extend an lv. Have you seen this message before :

I'm not receiving any errors, no stale extents, just have not seen this message before.

The message like "UX:vxfs fsadm: INFO: V-3-23585" are the result of changes in the message catalog released by Veritas for their products. I don't recall the name of the vertias bundle for HPUX for this change. But it should have been installed in your system resulting the kinda of messages you see.
In your case, this is informational message showing the action is carried out on the VXFS filesystem of version 3
