UXMON: Boot detected. Please Check Reason reoccuring
We are receiving this message every hour, but server was booted only once (8 hours ago). My question is, what part of monitoring is responsible for generating this alarm (which conf file can be checked to find reason for generating this message).
Thanks for the answers
Mike

Re: UXMON: Boot detected. Please Check Reason reoccuring
suspecting you are running HP Open View Operation inside your server please look for the below file "vol_mon.cfg"
find / -name vol_mon.cfg
suspecting the alert regards to the vol_mon.cfg file sending this message
Thanks,
Best Regards,
Johnson

Re: UXMON: Boot detected. Please Check Reason reoccuring
please check for vol_mon.sh
example :-
vol_mon.sh [-v] [-c
Important :- using the normal logfile encapsulated by ITO for testing! this may cause unnecessary messages in the browser,
Thanks

Re: UXMON: Boot detected. Please Check Reason reoccuring
I'm not able to find files you noted. Maybe it's because this is Linux box but I don't think so because we are recieving same alarms from HPUX systems. So I'm still not able to tell which part of monitoring is responsible for this message

Re: UXMON: Boot detected. Please Check Reason reoccuring
Any idea of other than HPUX - monitoring tools like (Big Brother or Big Sister) which is running on Linux Server..?
suspecting UXMON - refer's to Unix Monitoring
some of your monitoring software which you have currently installed in the server dectecting there was some Changes recently , I mean when server was rebooted
Rgds,
Johnson
