VA7100 - remove LUN
We have a rp54xx (HP9000 L3000) with HP-UX 11.11. We did some experimentation adding some drives to fully populate our VA7100. Also, created a 50 GB LUN and mount point to test disk-to-disk copying. We found out quickly that the VA7100 is very inefficient after you get over 12 drives and disk-to-disk within the same VA7100 isn't too smart either.
I want to get back to pre-experiment state - does anyone have the reverse directions and LVM commands to get rid of the LUN?

Re: VA7100 - remove LUN
Shalom,
umount all filesystems
lvremove logical volumes.
You can use rmsf on the device files in /dev
You will need to configure the VA7100 to remove the LUN as well. Once the LUN no longer shows up on ioscan you are done.
