Validation in Service Guard Manager
I convert a node of a Service Guard cluster to trusted system. I have a problem if I set a root password of 8 characters the SGMgr is unable to connect to Object Manager. But if a set a 6 characters root password SGMgr connects correctly to the OBject Manager.
I establish the minium password lenght to 6 and the maximun to 30
Anybody has an idea?
Thanks in advanced

Re: Validation in Service Guard Manager
Is only one node a trusted system?
If so, convert the other(s).
What happened?
Hope this helps

Re: Validation in Service Guard Manager
Right now, I'm baffled.
I have SGMgr A.01.01.00
MCSG A.11.12
HP-UX 11.00
root password at 8 characters.
I can login as root and view 2 of my 3 clusters; an 11.12 and an 11.05 cluster.
The only difference that I may have is that my systems were trusted prior to installation and I have SGMgr on my PC from where I connect.
I know this is "windows troubleshooting", but have you removed/reinstalled SGMgr?
What product versions are you using?
Regards
Chris
