Before installing ignite-UX the dir /var/opt/ignite will be existing.This is true or false.Thanks

If there is an older version of ignite installed. the directory may exist. If this is a first time install of ignite, the directory won't exist and will be created automatically by the install program.

During the installation it looks for the directory. If it is not there it creates the directory and if it is there it does not create the directory. It writes under that directory.

The installation program for ignite-ux will automatically create the directory for you as well as set the proper ownership and permissions on the subsequent directories. If you have already created the directory remove it and let the install program handle it, this would result in a much cleaner install.

will on 11.00 installs (at least in my experience)
You will have print_manifest command there.
Not certain about /var
