Gurus-
I once mistakenly came across a file that listed by name vendors and arrays etc. recognized by the kernel. Does anyone know precisely where that file is located ?

Not exacely sure if this will help:

SAM has a device helper file with some array info in it: /usr/sam/lib/C/pd_devinfo.tx
