Verifying the tz DST patch was installed

Hi all -

I bundled the DST patch with the GOLD patches that came out in December and installed all at one time.

I'm feeling really stupid right now, but since I bundled it with the GOLD patches, it's not listed individually in my installed software. Is there a way to verify that the patch actually did get installed OR if it did get installed should it be listed in my software list via SAM? Thanks for your help.

u can also view the installed software through SAM. software management -> list software ->

Or really easy:

grep 2007 /usr/lib/tztab

An unpatched tztab will not have 2007 listed in the file. Note that this is simply looking for entries that are different for the year 2007. Since politicians love to change things, there will be more tztab patches in the future.
