Veritas license for vxfs

Dear all,
I am not able to use fsadm, it is giving me the error that I dont have license for that and when I checked

# vxlicrep

VERITAS License Manager vxlicrep utility version 3.02.006
Copyright (C) 1996-2004 VERITAS Software Corp. All Rights reserved.

Creating a report on all VERITAS products installed on this system

vxlicrep ERROR V-21-3-1003 There are no valid VERITAS License keys installed in the system.
# vxlicense -p
vrts:vxlicense: INFO: No valid license installed


I have customer ID and support for HP-UX, can you guide me how I can installed the license for vxfs

Yeah, I installed the enable VXFS still it is not working.

Do you see any license files populated in /etc/vx/licenses/lic directory in your case ?

Also what version of HP & Veritas you are using ?

Have you tried following:

# vxdctl license init
# vxdctl listsupport

Looks like you onlinejfs version lower to B.11.23.0512

Looks to me it says what it says. NO valid licence.

1) did you purchase OnlineJFS ?
2) did you purchase Veritas' standalone version ?

vxfs exists by default as a basic filesystem included with HPUX. The administration utils need to be purchased separately.
