Veritas/LVM 2 Help

We run a BIG HP-UX shop with lvm. I am hearing we are going to get veritas and some lvm 2. Can someone help with some good links to these or recommend some good book for veritas? BTW what is LVM2?

For Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) you can get lots of information from Veritas' web site.

I have not heard of LVM2. Who told you this? Where di they get information from?

If anything LVM2 may be a "codename" for the LVM that will be shipping with 11v3
I believe they'll be using some of the Tru64 stuff in it.

Or else it may be somebody's term for the slicing & dicing that 11.23 IA uses on the root/boot disks now.
