Veritas volume manager and business copy backups

I am having a problem converting LVM volumes to VXVM. The disk for the LVM voluems exist on a VA7410 disk array and we use business copy luns to do the backups.

With LVM, I unmount the BC volumes, vgchange -a n the BC volume, sync the BC luns to the primary luns, vgchange -a y the BC volume, and mount the BC volumes.

What would the comparable procedure be with VXVM?
