Veritas with 11.21
I installed the version 11.21 of HP-UX and had vxfs cadge us system, but I did not install Veritas, that is possible ?

11.21 is an obsoleted version of HP-UX (11iv1.6 I think?) You _do_ _not_ want to be running that version. Get either 11iv2 (11.23) or 11iv3 (11.31).
I take it you mean you have vxfs filesystems but you haven't installed Vertitas products?
Well vxfs filesystems are part of the core OS on HP-UX and is known as JFS. So unlike on Solaris or AIX, you get vxfs filesystems with the OS. Be aware though that the base operating system comes with a "cut down" version of the VxFS filesystem with much of the functionality such as online filesystem extension disabled. You only have the "full" equivalent of the commercial Veritas Filesystem product if you have "Online JFS" installed.

There was no such version. 11.22 was 1.6.
