Vertias VxVM Rootable System

Has anyone used ignite-ux recovery tape to interactivly reconfigure the root file system to be VxVm rootable system?

I have used the ignite recovery tapes several times to reconfigure the logical volume sizes that came with a new system, but not to change the volume types?

I have seen where I can run on the spare internal disk
#vxcp_lvmboot -b cytydy, and then
#vxassist6 -g rootdg make swapvol2 1g
to boot off of it, but what about all the other system files?

Do I then run from "init 1" the convertion command?
# vxvmconvert

How do I get the "usr" filesystem converted?

Has anyone done this yet?
Could do the install from scratch and configure the root filesystem? Any suggestions?

I was hoping for an easier way without having to reload all the patches and software that is preload at factory.
