VG cannot attach after delete the MC Service Guard config
Hi everybody,
I got below error after delete the Cluster (Mc service Guard) . What I need to do to reclaim back the volume group.:
WBSIGA01:root> vgchange -a y /dev/vg01
vgchange: Warning: Couldn't attach to the volume group physical volume "/dev/ds:
Cross-device link
vgchange: Activation mode requested for the volume group "/dev/vg01" conflicts .
vgchange: Warning: couldn't query physical volume "/dev/dsk/c6t0d0":
The specified path does not correspond to physical volume attached to
this volume group
vgchange: Warning: couldn't query all of the physical volumes.
regards
mB

Re: VG cannot attach after delete the MC Service Guard config
Try vgchange -c n /dev/vg01 first, because the vg was configured was in cluster and was cluster aware so you need to deactivate from being cluster aware.
