vgdisplay: Volume group not activated.
vgdisplay: Cannot display volume group "/dev/vgwwprod03".
Please run vgdisplay -v vgwwprod03
on the owner cluster node.
Also attach
# cat /etc/lvmpvg
# strings /etc/lvmtab
# strings /etc/lvmtab_p
Likely your lvmpvg file does not fit the configuration.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Vgdisplay Error: Information in "/etc/lvmtab" or "/etc/lvmtab_p" differs fro
Are the outputs from the other server?
However, the lvmpvg lists agile devices, the lvmtab_p lists legacy devices. Consider to use "vgdsf" to convert.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Vgdisplay Error: Information in "/etc/lvmtab" or "/etc/lvmtab_p" differs fro
Torsten,
Thanks for your reply.
I read the 'vgdsf' document and got some understanding about its use.
But, since these are production systems, I would like to know the procedure with respect to my problem.
Can you help me with it?
Let me know if you need more info.
Thanks
