Vi with colors

hello, i'm using vi as editor for programming script shell.
I'm searching for using it with colors (something like xemacs) or from an equivalent editor (same keys !!) but with colors.

No matter if it runs or not with Xwindow.

Check out Vi IMproved (vim). I think it will do what you want to do.
