I've seen many threads about how to make VIP's on LAN interfaces by adding "stanzas" to the netconf file (i.e. configure lan0:1 etc). But can anyone offer guidance on adding VIP's to an existing APA interface? Since lan900 is not configured in netconf I'm not quite sure how to proceed (although one of the LAN interfaces that is part of the APA set is defined there).

Solution
First, why isn't your lan900 in netconf? Are you issuing ifconfig commands "by hand" after boot?
Anyway, you can add logical interfaces/IP's to a link aggregate just like you do for a non-aggregated link. The transport sees no difference between the two.

Re: VIP's andd APA
I figured this out yesterday, but thanks for the reply. It helps to restart the APA software after updating the netconf.
As for lan900 not being in netconf, no I'm not configuring it manually every boot. The way I was instructed (by an in-house SA), the file /etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaportconf points to interfaces that are defined in netconf. Works like a champ.
