Virtual partition monitor not running

i have hp server(1 npar and 2 vpar).
due to power interruption,I reboot the server
and the npar is working but the vpar is not running , so one system is running and another is not running.

Re: Virtual partition monitor not running

Shalom,

I'd say the vpars were not configured to start automatically and were run manually.

I'd suggest checking syslog and then making sure the configuration can survive reboot.

Re: Virtual partition monitor not running

Hi,

I agree with Steven, your vpar is not configured to start automatically. Try to boot manually:

- Break at BCH
- Load hpux: hpux /stand/vpmon
- Under vpmon: vparload -all

Sandy
