Virtualization on Integrity rx2600
My company has an Integrity rx2600 for testing their software.
Can I run VPars on this hardware?
Or should I use Integrity Virtual Machines?
Thanks.

Re: Virtualization on Integrity rx2600
vPars is restricted to PA-RISC processors - for your Integrity machine you will need to use Integrity Virtual Machines.

Re: Virtualization on Integrity rx2600
Shalom,
vpar is restricted to cell based systems, PA-RISC or Integrity.
Your virtualization option on the rx2600 is called HPVM, which is robust and will work nicely with sufficient memory and disk reseources.

Re: Virtualization on Integrity rx2600
HPVM needs a Montecito dual core CPU. It is impossible to run HPVM on a rx2600.
The smallest machine that can be used is a rx2620.
Hope this helps
