visualize eg graphic card
hi!
we recently bought a j5000 work station
we discovered later that we got a visualize eg graphic card in which the max color
depth is 8 bit, it's spec is very low level.
we ordereda new c3600 and i checked with my
local hp dealer and it ships with the same
graphic card.
first is that true about the eg card ?
second shouldn't the c3600 ship with the fxX
cards as a default ? if not what fxX should
i buy???
Thanks

Re: visualize eg graphic card
As far as the Vis EG graphics card is concerned it is low spec but compatible with almost all workstations and server models.
As to the C Class I must admit I'd of thought a higher spec would have been ordered : to check I'd look at http://www.hp.com/visualize/products/unix/graphics/index.html web site, as to which is the best fx card, it depends on your requirements, again the above web site has some good info.
