VM Migrate on a really old version of HPVM

I have a server that has a really old version of HPVM on it:

HPVM.HPVM-CORE A.01.20 Integrity VM HPVM Core

I need to move one of the clients on this server to another server. The hpvmmigrate command is not on this system. The two choices I have for moving this client are to either attach a tape drive to the client and create an Ignite backup of it or find out how to get the hpvmmigrate tool to work on this version of HPVM. The host server is an rx4640 running HP-UX 11.23.

I don't know what you are using as backing storage, but I would consider to transfer the content of the logical disk to the other server and re-create the HPVM there.

You maybe need to update the client in order to work with a newer HPVM host.

The current backing store is a logical volume on one EVA and raw disk on another EVA.
