I have just created a virtual machine on my vm host. And accessing the virtual machine using hpvmconsole -p virtualmachine_name .i see vMP as it should be.But how could i exit from vMP .
I want to load the OS on the virtual machine ,so i'm accessing the console ...as i read in the manual i have booted the virtual machine using hpvmconsole -c 'pc -on' vmname.
but it just starts or in other words powering it up but not providing the wizard for the install. But i have created virtual device(dvd) for the vm.What is wrong?how do i install os onto the virtual machine.
Please advice
Thanks in advance.

Re: vMP console
you should not use the real MP on the machine, because CTRL B is taking you to the real MP. You should telnet (or whatever) to the system and run the virtual console from there.
Just in case you are on the real console - use CTRL X to get into the vMP.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
