vmunix: LPMC type : I-Cache Parity Error.
I got the following error in one of rp7400 server. There was only one error message of this kind as of now.
I had checked in the STM it shows one of the CPU in yellow color with message "Information Killed". When i run top command it shows all the processors are running fine.
What is the indication of Yellow Color on that CPU and message "Information Killed"

Re: vmunix: LPMC type : I-Cache Parity Error.
This is an error logged for a parity error in an Instruction Cache on a CPU.
If you only get one or two of these, then this is not too bad, if you are getting them regularly, place a Hardware call with HP.

Re: vmunix: LPMC type : I-Cache Parity Error.
I had similar cases. Just notify HP support. Together you will decide, how mission critical is your system, does HP local team has a spare CPU, can you wait for more LPMCs or replace CPU immediately.
