vmunix: The current audit file is switched from /.secure/etc/audfile1 to /.secure/etc/audfile2.

This morning I got the following message from my RX1600 server: vmunix: The current audit file is switched from /.secure/etc/audfile1 to /.secure/etc/audfile2. I also got the following: vmunix: Notify the security officer to specify a backup. Can anyone tell me what could have caused this and what actions I need to take? I am new to HP-UX system administration and need some assistance.
Thanks

Re: vmunix: The current audit file is switched from /.secure/etc/audfile1 to /.secure/etc/audfile2.

If the log file reaches a specific size, another file will be used.

Hope this helps!

I see thanks for the information; it really helps to have experienced people to go to.
