Re: vmunix (WARNING!!! Do not open attachment, VIRUS
But generally vmunix: file table full indicates that your nfile parm is being exceeded. The best way to increase this kernel parm is to increase the maxusers and then the kernel formula will increase nfile and nproc accordingly. The system will then reboot and build a new kernel.
Hope this helps,
rcw

Re: vmunix (WARNING!!! Do not open attachment, VIRUS
Now to your question:
What you have to do is to increase the value of NFILE through SAM->Kernel configuration.
You can also check the current value with sar -v or sysdef.

Re: vmunix (WARNING!!! Do not open attachment, VIRUS
It is most likely that the author did not know that a virus was being attached. Running strings and od (from a Unix box) on the file shows what appears to be a screen capture of a terminal window after it ran a series of "more syslog.log" commands. The "good stuff" is at the end of the file.
I am more concerned that the forum maintainers have not removed the attachment. The warning is nice but the potential for problems is still present. Perhaps they should automatically delete any non-text attachment.
