I am replacing a disk array. New Harware.
The Hardware address are all different so I removed the setup for the Filesystem, Logical Volumes, and the Volume Groups for the old hardware before I started.
Well some thing happened.
I can not install one of the new VolumeGroups(vg) because part of it is still setup.
I get this message:
vgcreate: Volume group "/dev/vg01" already exists in "/etc/lvmtab" file.
/etc/lvmtab shows:
# strings /etc/lvmtab
/dev/vg00
/dev/dsk/c1t15d0
/dev/dsk/c3t15d0
/dev/vg01
/dev/dsk/c4t8d0
/dev/dsk/c5t8d0
vg00 is OK this is the OS
There is notheing for vg01 anwhere execpt here that I can find.
"c5t8d0" does not exest any more.
I have tries 'vgreduce -f' with no help.
How can I get the /dev/vg01 out of here so I can recreate it correctlly?

The only thing that always remain the same are the changes.
