Re: VOT: T-Shirts

Good suggestion Chris,

That way, when we all meet up in Hawaii, we'll recognise each other easily ;P

Re: VOT: T-Shirts

Hi
With places of the World in mind and the Forum being so global a T shirt should reflect this !!

Perhaps a mercator projection of the world as a background?

Re: VOT: T-Shirts

Re-Hi,

Dan: yes, I would pay some amount for the ITRC-T-shirt (not any amount, though)... And the template for the hot-ironing (just the logo) would be sufficient, too. Or the logo as an embroidery (stitchery?) to hot-iron onto our T-shirts of choice (or even to sew it on) - could you ask for such? Then you could snail-mail them in simple envelopes (keeping the cost low)...

procura: I love the idea about the free one for kings... (would I get two, then? ;-)
How about an additional bunny, with a tally besides/below for every bunny-page (so we could add the new bunnies we may get over time)???

Regards,
Wodisch
PS: Paula: Will you be there on duty? Hamid (lives there) just told me it is very hot there (today!), so I guess it will be too hot then (Qatar was almost too hot for me the last two days already)... But I am afraid I will be in finland then (temparatures there are closer to what I like, though).

Re: VOT: T-Shirts

Hi Procura

Last year ther was some link on the HP Site wherein you could order stuff like key chains T shirts , I did a search and got this may be you can get something from this .

Hewlett-Packard Public Sector Web - it's a small world, until you have to print it!
Request a free HP t-shirt and learn more about HP DesignJet large-format printers, including the new DesignJet cc800 ps model. Offer for public sector customers only. HP has IT solutions for U.S. public sector organizations -- hardware, software, ...

I am taking a week off, diving, flying and shopping, oh and I may spend some time on the beach.

I wonder how many calls I will get from the office?

Re: VOT: T-Shirts

I've got a set of imitation leather HP9000 juggling balls which could be unstiched and made into some very nice skimpy beach wear ?

(Also got an HP Education stress ball which came in very handy during an Omniback implementaion.)

Paula

Not bad

Change the text ( remove sharp edges ) feng shui

That could go on the back with a smaller one for the front

Re: VOT: T-Shirts

Hi Paula,

How about a bunny (that bunny answer icon) on the back and a crown (e.g.) on the front... I am just kidding! :P

Personally, I think the working: "HP ITRC PRO" "HP ITRC ROYALTY", "HP ITRC GRADUATE" etc. with HP's logo alongside will be good.

My 2 cents.

Re: VOT: T-Shirts

First of all, I think all of you drifted from the original question: A HP T-shirt about HP9000, not about printers, plotters, camera's, HP logo's, whatever.

I like the fact that the thread has moved into an ITRC T-Shirt, and some ideas are good. Paula has touched the Worl-Wide influence of the forum very nicely, but misplaced the Queens crown, which should have been in Dubai :-P)

I like Wodish' picture very much. Nice and easy, and only directly understood by Forum visitors. Using the Pharao hat isn't bad either, because it's within reach of all of us give or take a few days^WWeeks^Wmonth^Wyear

Personally I don't like the idea of getting the picture of the web myself. I want pre-printed T-shirts, and with the current count of Kings, Pharao's and Olympians (who should get it for free) and wizard (who will probably buy if not yet close to royalty), the number of T-shirts should be around 150, which makes it something quite unique to own (might be double, because the 'j' and 'm' still are gone)

Paula, have a nice holiday, and please forget about us for a moment.

Was it a holiday in the US yesterday? So calm on the forum.

Enjoy, Have FUN! H.Merijn

Re: VOT: T-Shirts

Hi P,

Yep...was Memorial Day. Started to celebrate the end of "The War to End All Wars" (WWI). Worked so well that it morphed to celebrate the end of alls wars since & servicemen/women in general. Was a perticularly somber day this year......

Rgds,
Jeff

For the ITRC T-shirt I was more or less thinking about these lines (see attached pic, for which the caps are from the small gif's and deserve a better resolution)

Re: VOT: T-Shirts

Well Procura,

It looks more like a T-shirt for a travel agency.

Omit the hardware on it, and change the background color to night blue.

Re: VOT: T-Shirts

Hi Procura,

nice idea, T-shirts with user name here in forum and hat printed on it... And whereever some of us go, allways we have to take that T-shirt with us. So we could easily find out in holiday everwhere on the world, if there is a forumer.

:-)

Allways stay on the bright side of life!

Call me slower than most normal people if you will, but I think I finally figured it out:
Does the "VOT" in the subject of this thread stand for "Very Off Topic"?
