I am setting up a server (SD-partition) to be used for hosting a few vPar's. For network access to these vPars I intend to use a quad network interface card. Can I assign for example port 1 to vPar 1 and port 2 to vPar 2, or do I have to assign the complete interface card to the partition?

Re: vPar and interfacecards
Hardware on the same LBA needs to be in the same vPAR. So you can only assign this interface card to one partition.

Solution
Sorry, but that will NOT work. A CARD, regardless of what it is, ie SCSI, FIBRE Channel, Network, whatever, can NOT be SHARED between either HARD partitions or Virtual Partitons.
Your four port Network Card will only be visable to ONE partition. That's just the rules today. Maybe a future release will allow card sharing, but not today.
