VPAR Commands
Im ny client site we have rp8420 in which 6 vaprs are configured. Sometimes because of power issue the server has halted but i don't know how to boot the vpars.
Please tell me the steps how to boot a vpar and how to reboot a particular vpar

Also make sure the primary boot disk has the autoboot string set to: hpux /stand/vpmon -a
Reading the manuals is a good idea as well

Go to MP console
Go to CM
And after this you can reset the partitions
with RE option, partition will start booting after reseting the partition.

In another addition,to reboot a particular vpar, if it's running, after selecting the vpar with CTRL+A in OS command line, you can use shutdown -ry 0 command.
