I have created virtual machines from scratch and now I am looking at a server that has one of it's nPars booted in vParmode. There are three vPars running under the nPar booted in vPar mode. One of the vPars seems to have lost it's network. Is there a way to pull the vPar console up like you can do with hpvmconsole for a virtual machine?
For example, when I type vparstatus all of the vPars are listed as available, but I can no longer SSH to the last vPar in the list.
(hp9-root: /:1507)-> vparstatus

Thanks in advance.

SolutionThe OS console is shared on the nPars console (toggle with CTRL a).
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: vPar Console
It seems the vPar is non-responsive for some reason, I get a login prompt at the console but no response when I enter my login and press the enter key. I can successfully login to the other vPars.
Am I able to utilize the vparreset command on this vPar even though it is in an upstate? Thank you.

Re: vPar Console
parstatus will give you some more information.
I think vparreset once on console will get you where you want to go.
These are available from web based or network console.
ctrl-b is the key command to bring up the interface once connected.
Since you are using ssh, I'm assuming modern hardware, Itanium with EFI
vparstatus -A
Also a handy tool showing available resources in case you need more networking or fiber for your new or current vpars.
