Vpar Mirror

If you Vpar a RP7400 which only has 2 internal drives. And I want an 'a' and 'b' vpar, I am guessing I need 2 root drives? correct?

So if that is true, how will I mirror my root drives? Mirror them to an external array where my data resides?

Re: Vpar Mirror

Yes you would need to mirror to other discs, external to the system, or use both internal drives for one vpar, and have external boot disc and mirror for the 2nd vpar.

Re: Vpar Mirror

Robert,

each vpar will need a boot disk. You can use one interal for each vpar and mirror to your external array. Or you may use both internal for one vpar and mirror them and then set two from the external array as the boot disks for the second vpar.
