Vpar re installation with golden image
I have 3 vapars out of them one is crashed.
The current working ones are prod servers.I cant disturb them.Wether i can use the make_sys_image in one of thye prod server to make the golden image.And wether I can install it on on eof the vpars while other vpars are running

Bonjour,
in my knowlege you will not "disturb" the running vPars if you "make_sys_image" of a running one then use this image to re-install the crashed one. Of course it will use a bit of cpu, a bit of network bandwith during installation of the vPar, but it will not worry a lot

If you have a ignite image of the other vpars(you should have ;D), it's quicker to restore the ignite(make_net_recovey) image on the vpar that has crashed.
If you don't have a make_net_recovery of the other vpars, do it now and restore this image on your crashed vpar server, then on the ignite gui change ip,hostname,etc.
make_sys_image is not the best command to launch on a production server, because during a brief period of time the server config files are left blank.
Much safer a make_net_recovery.
