vsnprintf not found when I try to config AIDE source

I am trying to compile AIDE 0.8, and got the following error message during configure state. I am running HPUX 11 and for sure vsnprintf is there.

> checking for vsnprintf... no
> Must have a system that supports vsnprintf

Anyone got an idea on this?
