vxupgrade on 11iV1 disklayout3 to disklayout 4

Hello;

we are slowly coldinstalling all our hpux servers on 11iV1 to 11iV2. A few of my 11.11 servers are running disklayout 3 on some mountpoints. Because all my servers are interlated in their processing, I need to make sure all my disklayouts on 3 are converted to disklayout 4

1) is there a formula to calculate how much disk space will be needed to convert from layout 3 to layout4

2) any perception on long it takes to convert it by filesystem size.

Regards;

Hi Ike:

The manpages for 'vxupgrade' (see link below) offers an estimate and notes that ascertaining an accurate value is difficult.

The conversion occurs very quickly as noted.
